Uh oh! The sequel to one of my least favourite ST games ever. Surely it can't be as bad as the first can it? Thankfully not. Well not completely anyway. For starters the title tune is a considerably improved sample, which although a bit crackly and on a somewhat tediously short loop, isn't anywhere in the league of awfulness that the original's opening track was. The opening screen is dull and uninspiring, offering a brief insight into the backplot, titles and the game itself as options. Er hmm the game itself. Er yes. Well it's kind of like the original. Er very like the original. Yes the graphics are better and there is a new theme, with punks taking the place of German troops. But underneath this is dear old Joe Blade. Except for one thing. You no longer have a gun. Instead you have to resort to some Mario style flying kicks. You then trapse around collecting for some unknown reason dustbins, and, er.. citizens. Yes you find these grumpy looking characters wandering around the place. Touch them and you are transported into what is possibly the most uninspiring sub-game I've ever played, unfortunately rather reminscent of the bomb disposal section in the first game, except even less attractive to look at. Get it wrong and it's game over. Collecting five dustbins gets you a bonus and presumably if you get more the bonus might vary. The backgrounds get a bit samey after a bit, and you'll want to map as the game is a maze of corridors. The punks never stop coming either and as usual your health is constantly being drained. Again I can't find anything to recommend here. Zogging Hell Rating: 4/10 Cheats ?
