ST Checkers

Francois Villeneuve 1986: From an original game from Pascal Parent

Well yes I'd like to tell you your either going to love or hate this game, but I think it's more a case of 'if you like checkers/draughts, you might find this bearable'. Pretty it isn't, and a good example, if one were needed, of why ST Medium Resolution wasn't much cop for games. To be fair to it, it is from the mists of time (1986, blimey it is old for an ST game). It also does exactly what it says on the tin and plays a reasonable game of checkers, with some variation in difficulty allowed. Finally it looks GEM compliant (though we didn't have chance to check this) so it might work on some later machines.
