Phantasm (Exocet Software 1988: Programming - Ron de Santi)
Sadly nothing to do with the low budget horror films this is a 3D shoot'em up in the style of Battlezone and Battle Command, but with more complexity (well you can fly at any rate). You rove about a quite a smooth and well rendered 3D environment, blasting anything that moves and presumably trying to destory re-generators, which by some amazing fluke allow your enemies to regenerate if they die nearby to one of them. There are a large amount of sectors to explore. This is pretty good game if you can find the time to spend with it, though there are better examples of its ilk.
