Championship Baseball (Activision 1987)

Shocking attempt to bring baseball to the Atari ST. The graphics look like they've been drawn by a two year old, the attempts at SFX are truely awful and the control system stinks. Try fielding for example and you'll be tearing your hair out in a minute. See now you think you should be bowling but if your man's not standing in the right spot, or you press fire in a way the computer thinks is the wrong way and your bowler throws it to a fielder instead, who moves away from his base. You throw it back to the bowler (after working out how to do it, which involves the ball flying round the pitch a few times) but your fielder remains lurking about in entirely the wrong place. Rubbish game. Avoid unless you love baseballand even then try RBI baseball 1 and 2 and even Hardball 1 and 2 before this one.
