| Moon Patrol (Andromeda/ Williams 1987)
Up to the point of reviewing this game I had never really seen the point in Moon Patrol. In my few brief plays I had decided that it was a a pretty boring affair. I suspect your level of interest has dropped considerably away after seeing the screenshots, but bear with me... Simple guide your buggy over the terrain, jumping obstacles and shooting hovering aliens. The graphics are a bit plain, despite the funky horizontal parallax scrolling and the sound track is somewhat irritating after a bit. There even seems to be infinite continues so you can play till you reach the end. However play the game for long enough and you start to become addicted. You simply must speed up to beat the times and start to take ludicrous risks. Progressing through the next series of jumps becomes an almost obsessive habit. In the end I had to drag myself away. Pretty good for an early game and well worth picking up. Zogging Hell Rating: 7/10 Cheats: Not known.
