Black Lamp (Firebird, 1987)

Predictable if nicer than usual platform romp with some attractive if hardly ST state of the art graphics. Bleeps and bloops comprise the sound effects. Probably appeal to younger players and fans of the early 'Quest Adventure' genre. It's not a bad game, and is probably one of the ST's better platform romps. But still there is the endless hordes of monsters, who never let you catch your breath. Clear a screen and immeadiately it is filled by a horde of monsters who have just walked through a wall to get to you. Probably a better example of the genre, without the atrocious music in Artura or the boring bits in Steel. Prefer Night Hunter though, where at least you got to suck some blood!!!
