Ah brilliant I thought as I started this one up; another Gauntlet clone. Not an amazingly memorable one either. It's quite competently done and if you like this sort of overhead shoot and collect type game, you'll be alright with this generic clone. Pretty much identical to the Amiga Crackdown version, except lacking the rather excellent and moody theme tunes. Graphically you'll be hard pushed to tell them apart. In parts a bit difficult, your character will have to spend a lot of time crushed up against a wall, trying to avoid having his internal organs re-distributed into the surrounding scenery, as another one of those bloody bastard enemies appears from no-where. Unsuprisingly no-frills game that will neither disgust you or, if Gauntlet floated your boat, make your nipples go errect with excitement.

Cheats
CHEAT ONE:- Press 'P' to pause the game. Type in "REVENGE OF THE MENTAL MOONMEN", PRESS '1' for 999 lives and 'P' to carry on playing, but easier. The second CHEAT is to type in "REVENGEOFTHEMENTALMOONMEN" (without spaces!) and the same keys as before. A third one is to type in: SMURF then press F1 and F2 to reimburse both players' lives!
