Cisco Heat (Mirrorsoft)

I always remember the review in Zero magazine for this one saying that, to the onlooker, Cisco Heat looks horrendous, but when your playing it's a whole different matter. Or words to that effect. I certainly wouldn't quote me on that anyway, and I don't want some spotty nerdo telling me what the exact quote is. So there. Anyway Cisco Heat then. Well what Zero said is quite right. Cisco Heat isn't that pretty to look over someone's shoulder at. Play the game though and it all suddenly works and you become quite immersed. The speed is highly respectable, and some of the levels are quite breath-taking. Racing down that famous hill (whatever it's called) in San Fransisco, at top speed, while dodging trams is superb fun. The learning curve is just right and the control isn't too bad for this kind of game. It's not Lotus, but it's a great little racer.

Zogging Hell Rating: 84%

Cheats

Type in Time-Up and press Return. This will make you invisible (how helpful I'm sure, probably a typo in the mag..) and infinite time.
