Falcon F16

Best known for being the first 'fun' flight simulator, Falcon stunned with it's amazing graphics and actually enjoyable playability. The 3D graphics are fast and smooth. The sound is also rather well implemented. The main problem occurs when you are trying to remember which button turns your bloody engine on. Once you do get in the air, control is simplicity itself. While it certainly isn't as instantly playable as Ocean's excellent F29, Falcon has more depth. It looks a bit dated compared to the real heavy weights of the ST world like F19 Stealth Fighter. The other problem is that it's damn difficult to land. It's well worth getting hold of; especially an original, as like all flight sims the huge manual is essential in some places (like starting the engine).
