Brutal Sports Football

Rather good, if sixteen bit looking, violent American Football game with monsters. The object is to either win the game by scoring more points than the opponent or killing all of his team. The violence is perhaps a bit overhyped but there's distinct satisfaction in tearing an opponents head off. This is achieved by either punching the poo out of them or by hacking at them with weapons. The sprites are big and lovely and its all very much in the Speedball style, but horizontally scrolling instead of vertically. This is definitely in the better half of the Jaguar games collection and is a lot of fun especially in two player.
