About the Site and F.A.Q.

Q. What's this site all about then?

A. It's a retro gaming site with a heavy Atari lean. The aim is to provide reviews, screenshots and cheats for games for most retro formats and if your lucky a place to dowload the game. We also want to give you as much info as possible about ST compatible computers...

Q. Fascinating, but you seem to be lacking screenshots in a lot of the sections. Why's that then?

A. Er that's because I don't have a scanner or a digital camera so I have to hope that there's an free emulator with a screen grab function. It's only a hobby after all, so don't get narcy. Of course I'm working towards a screenshot and cheat etc for every game.

Q. O.K. But why aren't parts of the site working?

A. Broken links etc are either due to my own mis-typing or due to the fact the section is under construction. At the moment the site is undergoing a major face lift. So quite a bit is off-line. If you find a broken link then you could e-mail me here

Q. Truely you are a question answering genius, but answer me this; why doesn't your site have large amounts of game downloads. I've seen sites like the Little Green Desktop and others that have huge amounts of games to dowload. Why not you?

A. Ideally Zogging Hell would like to get to that stage as well. However Zogging Hell operates a strict no menu disk policy. It wouldn't be hard to upload a load of say Automation menus to the site. However as part of quality control Zogging Hell only uploads un-protected originals or hacked individual versions of games. Menu disks with lots of different games and hideous pirate loading screens are simply not Zogging Hell's bag baby. Pirates deserve little credit for ripping off the ST games industry and Zogging Hell will attempt not to give it to them.

Q. Oooohhh, ride that moral high horse! but if your so high and mighty how come your offering downloads at all. Even though these games are no longer supported, it's still not legal to distribute them. Speaking of which, where the hell are your downloads? And while I'm at it, why are most of your screenshots from cracked disks? What have you got to say about that clever dick?

A. You are a bit of a twat aren't you?... While Zogging Hell doesn't hold pirates in too high an esteem, it does believe in the preservation of games and applications that are no longer supported (and haven't been for more than ten years). We believe in collecting and distributing this so-called 'abandon-ware' so it doesn't dissappear forever. The downloads are in the Atari ST compatible section for general downloads you want the page cunningly labelled 'download bay' or 'ST Magazine Coverdisks' for coverdisk downloads. There are also quite a few game downloads scattered throught the Atari ST part of the Games Machines section. As for the screenshots, at the moment it's the easiest (and in my case the only) way to get them for the site.

Q. Very noble, O.K. but what are these other parts of the site that are totally un-related to games (and a bit crap)?

A. By that I presume you mean stuff like the 'Other Pages'?

Q. Yes that's right thicko. So answer the question..

A. Well that's just a bit of a light entertainment breather from the games stuff. You got it right really, it's just a bit of crap...

Q. Well that's really motivated me to explore the site. Anything else I should know?

A. Errr, well the Atari ST compatibles section is for the serious applications stuff.

Q. Yes, and....

A. If a games really good it gets a coveted Zogging Hell award.

Q. That's most of the stuff I wanted to know but what happens if there's a question I have thats not in this section?

A. Well you could e-mail me, couldn't you.

Q. Er Yes I suppose, but that would be too easy. Could you please tell me the square root of 3546546546545464565464565474395773947593475.

A. No. Now Naff Off!

Q. Damn right again, is there no end to your skillo knowledge?

A. No

Q. O.K. Bye then..
